About MomChoir
MomChoir is a Vancouver based choir made up of local moms who not only share the joys of motherhood (!) but also a love for music and singing.
MomChoir rehearses once a week to learn a variety of music, from gospel and jazz to contemporary pop tunes. The choir presents two shows a year and sings at various other events throughout the year.
MomChoir is an engaging learning environment and members not only learn vocal and performance skills and techniques, but they they also develop friendships and build a sense of community.
We are grateful to rehearse and sing on the traditional unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) people.
Katy Cadman - Founder & Artistic Director (she/her)

She then followed her passion for teaching and became a high school English and Choir teacher. She currently sings with a cappella group, Sweet Scarlet and loves directing MomChoir. The MomChoir community and the joy of rehearsals is the highlight of Katy's week.
